The DSM screwdriver is vertically mounted on a controlled shaft that positions it over each bolting location.
An automatic supply system feeds the bolts on demand.
The machine can operate in manual mode, during which loading and unloading is done by the operator.
The facility was extended later by including a robotised cell for automatic loading of parts and steel plates and a pokayoke unit at the outlet.
All handling on the facility is performed by a Fanuc robot.
